My gmail account has never done this but Hotmail has a few times. He said that he would send it to the engineering department and I've not heard back. I've called Apple and the iPad specialist didn't have a clue and said he had never heard of it before. If I do have them on my computer, I can forward them to my ipad until the next time they disappear. If I have not deleted my computer inbox messages, they are still on my computer but usually they have been deleted too by me so I've lost the emails. The first three times it happened, it was once every two weeks, now it's once a day or every other day and I can't live with this problem because my main reason to get the ipad 2 was for email, particularly this email account. I only have 3 mailboxes in this account, inbox, sent, and delete so it's seems plain and simple.Īt first it was once about two weeks that all of a sudden, all the inbox mailed would disappear spontaneously from my inbox folder. Once it downloads onto my computer or ipad, it's downloaded onto those devices, no changes can be made. My main email account is a pop3 but there is no sync at all involved.
When I first bought it, it came with ios 6. I just got an iPad 2 and I have ios 6.0.1 on it.
